The Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position can be performed virtually and is not location specific.
Role & responsibilities:
Realize the rewards of conquering a new challenge
As the qualified person for this role, you will become part of Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems sector working with the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) and responsible for the following:

  • Developing computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
  • Establishing and documenting system parameters and formats, ensuring hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinating and/or modifying system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
  • Revising existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
  • Providing technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems, solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Science and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree; or a PhD.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust security clearance & designation.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors degree in Science; 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters; or a PhD.
  • Current, active Position of Public Trust clearance and designation.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate across teams, internal and external.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL with any RDBMS
