We seek a dedicated and organized Staffing Coordinator to join our growing team.

Job Description:

As a Staffing Coordinator at Marin Home Care, you will ensure that our clients receive consistent, high-quality care. You will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and managing our team of caregivers, ensuring that each client’s care needs are met promptly and efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills, multitasking, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and assign caregivers to clients based on their availability, preferences, and skill sets.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and caregiver records in our scheduling system.

Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and management to address any staffing issues or changes.

Ensure that all shifts are filled and that caregivers are appropriately trained and qualified for their assignments.

Monitor and track caregiver attendance and performance, addressing any issues as needed.

Assist in onboarding new care professionals, ensuring they are trained and prepared for their roles.

Work with the management team to ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.

Assists in all activities that are required of the Administrator & Chief Operating Officer.

Follows instructions, and is self-reliant and plans appropriately. Is customer service oriented and relationship driven.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in staffing coordination, scheduling, or a similar role in home care or healthcare preferred.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Knowledge of home care regulations and best practices is a plus.

Proficient in using scheduling software or similar tools.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Organizational Relationship: Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer
