Our San Mateo Preschool is looking for an energetic teacher to join their team in anticipation of upcoming fall openings. Our current staff of two teachers is looking for a third to join their work with 20 children, ages 3 to 5, in a developmentally appropriate setting. This part time position, without a full time option, follows a traditional school year calendar with a four week summer program. Staff hours are 8:30am until 1:30am with the children attending 9am until Noon.
Qualified applicants will:
⢠Have a minimum of 18 ECE units working toward a degree; BA in ECE or Child Development, or Master Teacher Permit.
⢠Have knowledge of developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum.
⢠Have the ability to plan and conduct developmentally appropriate group activities.
⢠Have at least one year teaching experience in a preschool setting.
⢠Have strong communication skills
⢠Like to have fun!
