Senior Associate Director of AdmissionsReporting to the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Senior Associate Director manages the day-to-day operations of the Undergraduate Admissions team and provides leadership in developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies and initiatives designed to achieve an HNU incoming class optimal in number, strong in academic ability, diverse in age, racial, cultural and geographic backgrounds. This position provides management of the team's progress in recruiting, evaluating, yielding, and matriculating students in order to meet and exceed established enrollment goals. This position is also responsible for student marketing strategies, event planning, and managing vendors and external partners that support our enrollment efforts.The Senior Associate Director is responsible for team leadership and team building within the office, and will also lead, inspire, coach, mentor, and support the professional development of the Admissions staff. The ideal candidate will have experience working at a private, tuition dependent institution, with demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding enrollment targets. The successful candidate will be expected to apply rapidly changing technology and best practices appropriately to the execution of the university's enrollment and recruitment goals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION: Responsible for meeting or exceeding enrollment goals each term. Manage a variety vendors and external partners that support our enrollment targets. Meet with undergraduate admissions to review individual pipelines and provide the necessary feedback, support and coaching to ensure each enrollment counselor meets or exceeds their enrollment targets. Ability to apply data and data reporting to regularly adjust operational and strategic priorities. Manage daily enrollment activities through the life cycle of the enrollment funnel, including daily inquiry contact and application management. Provide leadership on ensuring effective and consistent usage of systems (CRM, etc). Develop and coordinate smart, creative, effective, and efficient recruitment strategies to stabilize existing territories and grow in new markets.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in admissions, higher education, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, including at least three years of direct supervisory experience. Demonstrated experience in a private higher education environment meeting or exceeding enrollment targets. Strong working knowledge and understanding of established professional codes of ethics and related principles of good practice for Admissions professionals.
