JUNIOR OR INTERMEDIATE ARCHITECT / ENGINEER

Aquatech Consultancy Inc. is an Architectural Engineering firm working in the Bay Area for more than 22 years. We specialize in building envelope consulting, design, and quality assurance; our services assist attorneys, developers, architects, and contractors on challenging construction projects.
We are looking for an individual with strong CAD skills and interested in developing and reviewing design details and specifications. Assignments will include drafting details, participating in field testing and site observations, take-offs, and estimating. Aquatech believes strongly in supporting professional development and will provide many opportunities for developing knowledge on building envelopes.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-year experiences in the construction industry, of which should include:
4 years of engineering/architecture college education, or
2 years of experience in the design of building envelope related work, or
5 years of field experience in roofing, exterior wall cladding systems, sheet metal, curtain walls, fenestration, or underground waterproofing construction or supervision.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field
- Design professional State License or registration in progress
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in:
AutoCAD and Revit
Bluebeam
MS. Office
- Knowledge of:
Construction Contract Documents
Specification Writing
