Merchant Roots is a San Francisco craft grocer in the Fillmore. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and hard working baristas and counter staff to join our close-knit team. This is a Full Time position with room for growth within the company, this position is ONLY for Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. This is a really great opportunity to learn in a fun, friendly, and creative work environment.
An ideal candidate would have:
- At least one year of experience in a specialty coffee shop or restaurant
- Familiarity with espresso equipment and pourover equipment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide memorable customer service
- An interest in learning and sharing knowledge about coffee.
- Flexible schedule with weekend availability
