Job Summary:
At Fifty Vara, we craft experiences as intentionally as we craft our cocktails. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for curating an engaging, dynamic, and memorable bar experience for our guests. You’ll showcase expert knowledge of spirits, wines, craft cocktails, and the brewery, all while embodying our commitment to hospitality and genuine connection. With a deep appreciation for California-inspired flavors and top-tier service, you will create balanced, high-quality drinks in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide warm, knowledgeable, and personalized service, ensuring each guest feels welcome.
Craft and serve signature and classic cocktails, wine, and beer with precision and consistency.
Engage guests with menu recommendations, including pairing suggestions for food and drinks.
Anticipate guest needs, providing a seamless and memorable bar experience.
Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
Maintain expert knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail techniques while staying current with industry trends.
Follow all alcohol service laws and company policies to ensure responsible beverage service.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, craft techniques, wine and beer
A passion for exceptional service and hospitality, with an outgoing and engaging personality.
Ability to multi-task efficiently, especially during high-volume hours.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
TIPS or RBS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
