We’re a small, high volume neighborhood bakery with three locations in the Outer Sunset, Outer Richmond, and FiDi. Known for our breakfast sandwiches, our seasonally rotating menu includes sourdough, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, quiches, muffins, cookies, cakes, scones, and dog treats (a favorite with neighborhood pups). Now, we're branching out and have opened a new pop-up location in Larkspur, just 20 minutes from our Balboa location in Marin County. We’re looking for a motivated and creative person who loves to interact with customers, work independently, and work in a fast paced environment. This position is a one-month-long position with potential for extension (based on how successful the pop-up is). NOW - DEC 15. Because this is a pop-up this person would be responsible for picking up and transporting pastries and breakfast burritos between our Outer Richmond location and Larkspur pop-up daily (using company car).
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS, NON NEGOTIABLE.
Typical Shifts: 5:30am - 1:00pm
Duties include but aren’t limited to:
- Driving between the Balboa location (in the Outer Richmond) and Larkspur Pop-up using company car
- Opening and operating Larkspur Pop-up independently
- POS system operation / Taking Orders
- Light bussing
- Answering questions about all locations
- Cleaning duties as needed
- Dishwashing
- End of shift clean-up
Requirements:
- CA Food Handlers certificate
- Valid drivers license
- Knowledge and of practice safe sanitation
- Sexual Harassment Training
- Ability to work independently
- Proof of identity and citizenship/work status
- Ability to work cleanly and efficiently, multitask, and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to stand/walk for 7-8 hours;
- lift 50lbs multiple times per shift
- Verbal and written English proficiency
- Available to work weekends and some holidays, flexible schedule preferred!
-Bilingual in Spanish is a plus! (but not necessary)
