Established Santa Cruz restaurant is seeking a seasoned, motivated and dynamic Floor Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and aims to elevate our patrons experience. Applicant should be organized, with a passion for mentor-ship, the right candidate should have a natural ability to lead through warm, detail-oriented hospitality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
General knowledge of labor laws and state regulations.
Should have experience in casual or fine dining, and in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with high efficiency.
This is a hands-on position
Ability to quickly and effectively make decisions while under pressure.
Dependable and timely
Passionate and knowledgeable about hospitality, service and culinary excellence.
Basic Outline of Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure all operational components are to standards
Staffing, training, and scheduling
Opening and closing daily operations, and locking up the restaurant
Enforcing employee side-work duties and other responsibilities
Successful candidates must have open availability and be able to work 40-50 hours per week.
