General Manager in Downtown Morgan Hill

We are seeking a passionate, hands-on General Manager to lead the daily operations of our Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of restaurant management experience, strong leadership skills, and a genuine love for hospitality and Italian cuisine.

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the team, ensuring excellent service and food quality, and overseeing daily operations. Open availability is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant

Hire, train, and manage front- and back-of-house team members

Manage scheduling, inventory, and ordering

Control food, labor, and operating costs

Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are upheld

Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve issues as needed

Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service flow

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of restaurant management experience

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Knowledge of restaurant operations, including budgeting and scheduling

Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities

Bilingual a plus

Must have open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

Prolonged standing, walking bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products upwards of 45lbs and supplies weighing. Repetitive hand and wrist motion; working with and around hot, cold, and hazardous equipment in a fast paced and congested environment that will occasionally be bright, loud, hot, and/or physically demanding
