Job Description:
Position is for 4 days per week with a possibility of 5 days in the busy season(s.) (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays Start shift at 9-10am until completed)
Summary
Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms under supervision of housekeeping supervisor. Housekeepers promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.
General Duties
Enters and prepares the room for cleaning.
Makes bed.
Dusts the room and furniture.
Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies.
Cleans the bathroom.
Cleans the closet.
Vacuums the carpet.
Checks and secures the rooms.
Replenish amenities according to the operational standards.
Deliver and retrieve items to/from guests.
Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
Responsible for replenishment of guest complimentory items.
Responsible for the cleanliness and maintance of work area.
Responsible for the Hotel property in the work area.
Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to them.
All other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Physical mobility, stamina, ability to follow directions, detail-oriented, professional attitude, ability to work independently.
