Line Cook

Local Kitchens is hiring a Line Cook to prepare food in our delivery-first kitchen. Your job is to prep high-quality food in a hyper-speed environment with precision and accuracy.

The Job:

Cook/fry meats, vegetables and other ingredients as well as prepare and portion food prior to cooking. Other duties include final assembly and packaging of sandwiches, salads, burritos and bowls.

Inspect, clean, and maintain food preparation areas. Ensure food is stored and cooked at proper temperatures. Ensure the freshness and quality of food by tasting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21+ per hour

Requirements:

- At least 16 years old

- Ability to communicate in English

- Ability to adapt and follow instructions

- Ability to move freely around the kitchen

- Ability to lift loads of 25-50 lbs

- Ability to operate store equipment including fryers, grills, and more

- Ability to interact productively with team members
