Lele Kitchen, a new upscale casual restaurant in Los Gatos, is seeking talented and passionate folks to join our back of the house team. We are still looking for a great Sous Chef, Pantry Cook, and a Line/Prep Cook to join our team. As the sister restaurant to the popular bakery and coffee shop Lele Cake, Lele Kitchen blends the freshness of California farm-to-table cuisine with the bold flavors of Eastern Europe. Our intimate 47-seat restaurant will be open for dinner service from 5 to 9 pm, Thursday through Monday, starting in early October.
We’re Looking For:
- Culinary background in casual yet elevated dining (for Sous Chef and Pantry Cook)
- Culinary experience (for Line/Prep Cook)
- Passion for creative, high-quality cuisine with attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with the Head Chef to execute the restaurant’s vision
- Strong team-player skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Responsibilities:
- Prepping seasonal ingredients: farm produce, local fish, lean meats
- For Sous Chef: Execution of the menu – 3 amuses, 3 appetizers, and 4 mains, using a binchotan grill, deep fryer, siphon, and sous vide
- For Pantry Cook: Execution of 3 amuses, 2 appetizers, and plating of 6 desserts
- Ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards

Schedule:
- Thursday through Monday, 40-hour workweek with an afternoon start and early evening finish (2-10 pm for sous chef and pantry cook)
