Our office is seeking a FT financial coordinator, in financial district San Francisco. We are looking for a candidate who can become an effective part of our nice team and will provide excellent service and care to our patients. This position requires knowledge of dental terminology, PPO dental insurance, and basic dental procedures (we will train and set you up for success if you have only limited dental procedure knowledge) and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
We are specifically looking for an individual who is friendly, punctual, team player, trustworthy, detail oriented, self-starter, and responsible.
The position will require daily interaction with patients, answering phone calls/emails, scheduling and rescheduling patients, coordinating appointments and referrals to specialists. More importantly, the person in this position will be responsible for treatment plan presentation, insurance benefit coordination, patient financial coordination, accounts receivable from both patients and dental insurance carriers, dental claim filing and tracking. This position is NOT a management position and you will be reporting to the owner doctor directly.
