Part-time case manager wanted to work in a large, private, multidisciplinary psychiatric clinic. This is a non-therapist role in which the case manager regularly meets with patients in the Intensive Outpatient Program to review schedules and practical goals. This is an excellent opportunity for trainees and newly licensed mental health professionals to work with experienced, mental health professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of psychiatric patients.
Job position:
4-10 hours direct, weekly patient interaction
Attendance at weekly staff meeting for discussion of clinical cases
Review documentation to assist utilization review professional in obtaining insurance authorization
Maintain appropriate, professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Ability to coordinate care with clinical team including psychiatrist, doctoral and masters level psychotherapists.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
