Solano Adult Day Health Care is a community-based Adult Day Health Care center that is in stable business for over 15 years. Solano ADHC has served Vallejo, American Canyon, Benicia and Fairfield residents from 2007. Our services include medical care, mental health counseling, behavioral health, Physical and Occupational Therapy and nutrition services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES of Staff RN:
Maintains safe working environment
Provide RN coverage for nursing services, medication administration and storage
Documents patient care services by charting in patient records (mostly using MS Office).
Maintain documents and communicate actions to other team members as required.
Maintains a cooperative relationship among other team members
Assess and develop Care Plan, update every six months
Provide patient care, to include administration of medications, perform nursing procedures, and provide patient education.
Perform other duties as needed
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Experience and knowledge of primary care medical services.
Demonstrate clinical assessment skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the program goals, objectives that are necessary for providing quality care.
Ability to organize, prioritize and efficiently carry out duties and assignments
Computer skills, MS Word and MS Excel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current active California Registered Nurse license.
Ability to meet requirements of CPR, First Aid and other mandated programs.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a typical office work environment. The individual is required to have ambulatory skills to visit various areas in the facility. Requires the ability to reach with hands and arms and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30lbs. Requires sitting and standing for extensive periods of time, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other equipment for extended periods of time.
Frequently required to read documents and write reports. Must be able to speak clearly, understand normal communication, and be understood.
Cognitive: Analyze information being received, concentrate and focus on the given task, summarize information received, interpret written data, write summaries as needed, interpret written or verbal instructions and recognize social or professional behavioral cues.
