Companion is a 27-year-old woman:
She is enthusiastic about healing, growth, emotional connections, and expanding her friendships.
She began at one pound and against all medical odds through alternative approaches she learned to walk at six, read, and later entered dance performances, and circus arts, completed high school, and currently attends Cabrillo College (part-time).
Here is a video of the early days and the inclusive development school we began that features Abby and her twin sister Libby. https://youtu.be/UQwZTBQAgxg?si=mGHBD1acLhTyYE6H.
She has a wonderful companion service dog who is always with her for daily walks, etc.
She is passionate about mental health, healing her trauma, developing more skills for independence, and getting her body and brain to work better together. She does not want to be 'fixed' or 'pathologized.'
She wants to be accepted for who she is and wants this for all people.
She loves learning more about healthy recipes, cooking, baking, creating art, dressing up, circus performances (watching and practicing) listening to great music, and going to live music concerts (with headphones) in pretty much all genres of music, watching Atypical, as a traveler she knows a variety of cultures.
Creative and accepting free thinker with a sharp intellect yet can feel stumped when over-stimulated or in a new environment.
She has been raised by a single mom and a circle of support. We want to strengthen our circle of support for a larger sustainable vision.

Reinforcing healthy living and hygiene habits/therapeutic routines.
