We are a neighborhood, eco‑friendly dry cleaning and laundry shop looking for a dependable, friendly Laundry Associate to join our team. We value thoughtful care, attention to detail, and creating a warm, welcoming experience for every customer. This role is a mix of front counter customer service and wash & fold support, with training provided. The right person is reliable, organized, and comfortable working both with people and with hands‑on laundry tasks.
What You’ll Do
Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, helpful service
Assist with orders at the counter: tag garments, prepare items for cleaning, and enter details into our POS system
Organize, track, and prepare orders for on‑time pickup and delivery
Perform wash & fold services (sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging)
Process payments, issue receipts, and balance the cash register
Answer phone calls and assist customers with questions
Keep the counter, work areas, and laundry stations clean and organized
After training, open and close the shop independently, and secure the space
Support teammates as needed to keep daily operations running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
Previous laundry, dry cleaning, retail, or customer service experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
Comfortable handling cash, POS systems, and physical laundry tasks
Friendly, professional communication skills
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Chinese language skills preferred but not required
Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.
