KPB Immigration Law Firm is seeking to fill a Case Manager position for its expanding
employment and family-based immigration practice in our San Jose office. We have
opportunities to make difference in the lives of immigrant families and you would be part of
our team advocating for our immigrant clients.
DUTIES:
● Assist attorneys in preparation of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions (primarily
family-based), applications for adjustment of status, asylum, U-visas, VAWA, SIJS,
naturalization, and be involved with deportation cases.
● Communicate regularly with clients via email, mail, and telephone.
● Hold meetings with clients to take declarations, gather supporting evidence and explain
their immigration process.
● Handle a caseload of 100+ immigration matters.
● Track and manage critical deadlines and time-sensitive documents.
● Possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
● Prepare filings with various courts (State and Federal), and governmental offices,
including appellate courts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate
● Removal defense experience preferred
● Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritizing skills
● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
● Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
● An interest in human rights and immigration matters.
● 1-2 years of experience at an immigration law firm is strongly preferred
● English and Spanish fluency is a must
