East Bay Law firm seeks motivated, experienced paralegal for its busy estate planning, probate, and trust administration practice. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. Skills required include good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, aptitude for learning new software programs, ability to prioritize assignments, organized thought process, creative thinking, and attention to detail.
Duties include drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, preparing and recording real property deeds, working knowledge of probate and trust administration procedures from commencement to final distribution, preparation of court approved probate and trust accountings, and preparation of fiduciary income tax returns and federal estate tax returns.
5+ years’ experience desired; current notary commission a plus.
