JOB TITLE:
CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator to join our team. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC
lathes for short- and medium-production runs while maintaining tight tolerances and
high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathe machines
Develop programs and perform setups for short and medium production runs
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure part quality
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Apply GD&T principles during machining and inspection
Work collaboratively as part of a team
Maintain excellent attendance and work ethic
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years CNC lathe programming and operating experience
Strong understanding of tight-tolerance machining
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints
Knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
(GD&T)
Good communication skills
Team-oriented mindset
