Bachur & Associates is assisting a Machine Shop located in Silicon Valley for over 60 years, in their search for an immediate opening for a Milling Manager. This machine shop has specialized in high precision turned parts, and now wants to broaden its capabilities and offerings to both new and longstanding aerospace and medical device customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the GM and be a key leader and collaborator in additional streamlining of operations throughout the entire shop. This position has great growth potential.
Requirements:
5+ years supervising experience in the machining industry
possess expert machining skills
proficient with Mastercam
ability to bid jobs and generate accurate cost and time estimates
have excellent customer relations skills
fluent in English both in written and verbal communications
proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status
