NPI Production Planner
The Planner will be responsible to ensure the highest of standards are upheld during planning processes. The exacting standards of our diverse product requires the ability to develop routing for complex manufactured and assembled components, monitor and release from MRP, create and maintain work instructions and reporting. This role works closely with the Master Scheduler and Engineering group, and has direct responsibility for on-time-delivery. The optimal candidate has a passion for manufacturing, quality improvements, corrective action implementation, as well as supporting our diverse customer base. Responsibilities:
⢠Workorder routings using MRP/ERP (Jobboss)
⢠Ensure accuracy in job quoting and purchase order acceptance
⢠Create detailed work instructions
⢠Create and manage recovery plans when needed
⢠Drive process improvements
⢠Work directly with customer service to ensure that customer requirements are satisfied
⢠Provide input to buyers, material planners, and shop-floor managers
⢠Solve practical problems in situations where only limited standardization exists
⢠Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
⢠Support internal continuous improvement efforts
⢠Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
⢠Certification or experience with APICS
⢠Detail oriented and focused on helping to maintain consistent quality standards
⢠Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
⢠Excellent MS Excel knowledge and skills
⢠Experience with MRP / ERP systems
⢠Preference will be given to candidates with prior Planning experience
⢠Quoting experience is preferred
⢠Strong mechanical skills
⢠Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprint and drawings preferred
⢠Able to work overtime as needed
Education:
⢠2-10 years of relevant Manufacturing experience in Semiconductor or Aerospace
