West Valley Precision is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Tool Crib Attendant. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain and manage our tool inventory, ensuring that our machinists have access to the necessary tools and equipment to efficiently complete their tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management.
- Maintain accurate records of all tools and equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to identify shortages or overages.
- Restock tool crib shelves and cabinets as needed, creating PO's and conduct receiving
Tool Distribution:
- Issue and receive tools and equipment to and from machinists.
- Inspect tools for damage or wear before issuing them.
- Ensure that tools are returned in good condition.
Tool Maintenance:
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
- Identify tools that require repair or replacement.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to schedule repairs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
