Small, dynamic Lake Merritt based AV rated Oakland litigation firm is looking for a Legal File Clerk/Administrative Assistant. Applicants should be reliable, and possess good writing and organizational skills, and the ability to work for a fast-paced office.
Job Responsibilities:
-Maintain cloud-based legal files.
-Data entry of incoming invoices into billing system software.
-Receive files and mail via email, Dropbox, or physical mail and save to legal files.
-Maintain and enter calendar entries in system.
-Office projects, including assistance with printing and assembly of trial binders and other tasks as requested.
- Office errands (walk to the bank a block away, and similar, including errands to deli to pick up office lunch), all within walking distance.
-General office duties of scanning, copying, incoming/outgoing mail and packages, kitchen duties of cleaning and restocking, assist with making coffee, stocking office supplies and kitchen snacks when delivered, office cleanliness, office projects, and other tasks as requested.
-Miscellaneous office projects that might include chair assembly of new chairs when received, or helping with plugging in network cables under desks, etc.
