A recycling facility in Oakland, CA is looking to hire a part-time (to possibly full time) organized and detailed oriented office assistant with a professional and positive attitude.
Job Duties including but not limited to the following:
Work in a professional manner with Clients and Co-workers
Ability to learn our Point of Sale (POS) system for daily use
Balancing the cashier box at the beginning and end of the day
Working with the Shipping and Receiving Dept.
Ordering office supplies (when necessary)
Working individually and as a team member with coworkers and drivers
Keeping the office clean and organized
Tracking and processing shipping containers in and out of the facility
Ability to professionally work with local authorities and departments (when necessary)
Organize and keep office files accurate and current
Candidate must possess the following:
Reliability in job performance and in attendance
Team building and positive work attitude
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Detail oriented/ strong multitasking skills
Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (strongly preferred)
Have Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft office
Cashier and/or accounting experience preferred
Ability to work flexible hours ( work on Weekends and/or Holidays – when necessary)
Previous experience working in an office environment
Must pass a background and drug screening
