Omega GTI is seeking a Purchasing Assistant, with proven skills in Electronic Component procurement, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Sales, strategic planning along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals is a plus.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare Purchase Orders and submit them to approved vendors
Establish a strong rapport with approved suppliers to obtain the best price
Follow up on shipment and deliveries and communicate changes to the appropriate individuals
Assist other team members as needed, especially warehouse operation
Preferred Qualifications:
o 1-2 years Purchasing experience
o Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
o Strong problem-solving skills
o Highly motivated and keen on details
o Ability to work and compete in a team environment
o Strong leadership skills
o General warehouse experience is preferred
