Retail Associate (Part-Time)
Our nonprofit's antique store is looking for a Retail Associate who enjoys working with the public and is interested in building their sales career while working with a nonprofit organization.
Responsibilities:
The Retail Associate will greet customer and assist them by answering questions, improving engagement with merchandise, providing outstanding customer service, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers. Other responsibilities include posting items for sale online and managing these sales, so experience or interest in learning this process is a plus!
The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in retail and a strong dedication to providing exceptional service for customers.
About Us:
Our antique store is a branch of our small family-run nonprofit, Naa PaulAisha. A portion of the profits go to funding our humanitarian and educational projects in Africa. For example, we are working on building a school currently. The sales from the shore will play a vital role in helping to fund these important projects. Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years customer service experience preferred
Ability to work well independently and on a team
Must be able to work weekends and select holidays
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
