Small high-end custom cabinetry shop seeking a reliable, detail-driven, fast-learning assistant with real experience in cabinetry, furniture building, or kitchen installations. This role requires someone who works clean, thinks ahead, and can handle tasks without constant supervision.
Most work is done inside the shop, but installations and material deliveries occur throughout the Bay Area, and you must be willing to travel as needed.
Responsibilities:
Build cabinets, shelves, and furniture with accuracy
Travel to job sites across the Bay Area for kitchen and built-in installations
Assist with deliveries and load/unload materials
Operate standard shop tools safely and confidently
Sanding, prep, and light finishing
Spray finishing experience helpful
Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
Proven cabinetry or furniture-building experience
Able to read drawings and build independently when needed
Must have reliable transportation (truck/van preferred but not required)
Must have basic hand tools
Shows up on time and ready to work
Able to lift sheet goods and hardwood materials
