We currently have an opening for a collaborative and driven individual to join our team as a Site Superintendent. The Site Superintendent is responsible for leading all on-site activities required throughout the construction process to successfully deliver a project on time and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for full project ownership including, but not limited to:

Has the independent responsibility to manage all field activities for projects of varying complexity

Ensures the proper performance of all subcontractors in both quality and timeliness of their work

Perform and coordinate all duties in conjunction with the duties of the Project Manager

Perform all project start-up and close-out activities

Thoroughly understand, organize, and maintain all project contract documents on a regular basis

Assist the Project Manager with the preparation of the project construction schedule in conjunction with input from the required Subcontractors

Manage the schedule to timely and successful completion

Coordinate implementation of the final project budget with the Project Manager

Co-conduct a Subcontractor pre-construction meeting with the Project Manager to review all UpCycle Builders and project specific requirements

Conduct regular Subcontractor coordination meetings

Prepare and distribute all necessary project administrative documents including, but not limited to: daily reports, 3-week look ahead schedule, incident reports, safety inspection reports, material delivery tickets, investigation reports, Project checklists, etc.

Identify and resolve all on-site project specific issues in conjunction with Project Manager and escalate the necessary issues up to the appropriate party

Implement and enforce all required UpCycle Builder on site Quality Control procedures

Implement and enforce all required UpCycle Builder on site Safety procedures

Exhibits UpCycle Builder's commitment to excellence by meeting and exceeding both internal and external customer expectations and displaying the utmost integrity

Qualifications and Experience:

Must be able to legally work in U.S.

5-10 years of past Site Superintendent experience

Extensive experience and knowledge of Construction means and methods, and a thorough understanding of industry practices

Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required

Perfect English is a must. Bilingual skills are a plus, but certainly not a necessity

Fosters a strong desire to learn, welcomes a new challenge, and values the need to collaborate with all team members

Strives to become a better Leader

Ability to read project schedules and plans

Can navigate files and programs on a Mac computer with ease

Experienced using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Dropbox preferred

Pay DOE. We require an initial probationary period to evaluate this. We offer our full-time employees a benefits package including medical, dental and vision.
