Immediate position available at a South San Francisco biotech company for two Part Time Hourly Pick Up/Delivery Couriers:
Responsibilities/Job description:
-Pick up/delivery courier: will drive a company sedan covered by company car insurance to various local customer sites to pick up and bring back DNA samples as well as deliver samples from time to time.
-Obtain signatures at every delivery
-Communicate clearly with the pick-up coordinator and labs
Requirements:
1. Candidate must be very detail oriented/meticulous and have excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills;
2. Candidate must have a clean driving record and must provide a copy of their DMV Driving Record.
3. No courier experience necessary. Familiarity with UCSF campus, Stanford, surrounding areas, and general SF is a big PLUS but not a requirement, all routes will be trained for.
4. Must have own Cell Phone for communication (text and calls) while on pick-up.
5. Bachelor's degree not required
6. Ability to act professionally and have a natural sense of urgency

10. Ability to commit to a minimum of 1 year with the company.
Hiring for two different shifts:
Morning Shift: 10am to 2pm; Monday thru Friday (no weekends) approx. 20 hrs/week
Afternoon Shift: 3pm to 7pm; Monday thru Friday (no weekends) approx. 20 hrs/week
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in getting into the service side of the biotech scene without the requirements of any sort of degree.

Introductory Period: 3 months with a possibility of a raise at the end of the probationary period.
Benefits: Paid Sick leave, 1 hour accrued per 30 hours worked. 401k is available - no company match available at this time.
Possibility for Growth depending on Company Needs first and then Employee Performance.
