We are looking for a dependable driver to transport Deceased from (place of death) i.e. medical facilities, residential homes, and Coroner's Offices, to Funeral Homes, Cemeteries, Crematories and designated locations in California.
This is a full time position that requires the applicant to be on call 6 days a week.
You must reside in Santa Cruz,please do not apply if you don't already reside in Santa Cruz County
This position will pay $15.00 per hour, minimum salary $1200.00 paid twice monthly guaranteed only if you respond to all calls dispatched to you. We also calculate payroll based on the number of calls you run as an incentive to work beyond the minimum guaranteed.
We pay $40-$55 for calls in Monterey and Santa Cruz County and $15 per hour for long distance transport.
(You must be compassionate, able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs alone, legible hand-writing, have knowledge of Santa Cruz and Monterey County, be able to respond to local scene with-in 45-60 minutes, and be able to use standard GPS navigation system.)
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
Must not have had a DWI, DUI, drug conviction or a positive drug or alcohol test in the past 10 years.
Must not have any felony convictions in the past 10 years.
Must have no more then 2 preventable accidents/incidents in the past 3 years.
Must have no more then 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
Must provide DMV print out before hire
Company will provide specailzed training, work vehicle, and GPS navigation.
Uniform requirements: Must have professional black dress slacks, black tie, black dress shoes, button down dress shirt, and dress socks.
