Rogue Valley Manor, Medford’s premier upscale senior living community, is seeking an experienced Dining Room Supervisor to join our team as we prepare to open our newest upscale dining venue. The ideal candidate will be organized, have strong communication and decision making skills, be able to multi-task, and enjoy working with seniors. As a member of the front-of-house leadership team, you will help drive success in Dining Services by continually developing the service experience, training and mentoring staff, and upholding the department’s expectations regarding performance, policies, and procedures. A typical day will involve organizing and supervising staff during service, managing call outs and shift coverage, checking catering sets for accuracy, communicating with residents and staff regarding comments and suggestions, and collaborating with the back of house for service needs. Required Qualifications:
Two (2) years’ entry level dining room leadership or equivalent experience within a hospitality and culinary focused environment; to include multi-venue hotels, resorts, restaurants, and/or high end senior living environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers CarPreferred Qualifications:
Previous experience supervising a staff of 20 or more.
Previous experience with training all levels of frontline service staff.
ServSafe certification or willing to pursue the certification once beginning employment.Full Time Employee Benefits:
