Opportunity for a licensed nurse or certified, experienced medical assistant for Supervisor of the Patient Care Department for an outpatient medical clinic. Mon - Fri 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Full-time, salaried, benefit eligible position. This fast paced position requires excellent communication and people skills. Must be a self-starter, be willing to work as a team member, and have a cheerful, positive attitude. Applicants must have either a current unrestricted Oregon nursing license or at least 2 years of certified medical assisting experience. Previous office experience and supervisory skills are preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
. Works in conjunction with Clinical Services Manager.
. Supervises Patient Care staff of 25-30, including nurses and MA’s.
. Plans, organizes, schedules, coordinates, and supervises daily department operations, ensuring coverage
needs are met.
. Oversees Anticoagulation Program and Annual Flu Shot Clinic.
. Manages the medication ordering system.
. Maintains a comprehensive orientation and training program for Patient Care staff.
. Ensures adherence to Clinic policies and procedures, compliance and HIPAA privacy, security and
educational requirements.
. Participates in staff hiring, individual performance evaluations, counsels personnel when required, and
recommends and participates in corrective actions.
