Self Storage Attendant - Part Time

In this position you will serve as the first point of contact for customers wanting to rent a storage unit or rental vehicle. Other job responsibilities include processing rental agreements and collecting payments, doing light maintenance and cleaning, answering phones and ensuring the safety of the customer and other employees through observation of safety rules and regulations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the below essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Greet customers and answer questions accurately.
Correctly calculate payments for customers.
Ensures that customers are safe once they have entered our gated facility
Provide general upkeep of facility
Complete all assigned tasks including regular filing, completion of dailies, and general duties as assigned.
Keeps immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention.
Become Fork lift certified and have a valid driver's license. (Certification training will be provided by employer at no cost and passing the certification is a condition of employment).
Become Uhaul certified. (Certification training will be provided by employer at no cost and passing is a condition of employment).
Flexible work hours, ability to work more hours during holiday work weeks, summer time and have basic computer skills.
Perform other duties as assigned, including data entry and minor customer service responsibilities.
Approaches all encounters with employees, customers and vendors in a friendly, service oriented manner.
Closed major holidays.
Compensation based on experience, submit resume and three references.
20 hrs. per week. Hours may increase during major holiday work weeks and summer time.
