This part time position is an entry level "Tree Service Ground Person / Watchmen Position.
Intense manual labour is required however, no climbing is required from this new employee.
Main duties are assisting in the removal of tree brush, tree trimmings and bucked tree rounds. Work will be on 4 to 5 days a week 5.5 to 8 hours a day. Work will be at a different work site each day at residential addresses in Redding Ca and within 25 miles of Redding. Please note that Chainsaw operating experience is required. Duties include but are not limited too the following:
bucking tops (once tree debris is on ground), dragging brush, stacking piles of brush, stacking logs, raking, using a leaf blower, watchmen duties to ensure safe and clear work zone for climber, take direction and assist climber (from ground) lowering branches and tops using ropes and proper friction devices, retrieve tools and ropes from truck, refuel saws and finally ensuring all tools are put back in truck at end of job.
