Seeking: An experienced, Accounts Administrator, who is highly motivated, energetic, great work ethic and a positive & pleasant personality.
The role of an Accounts Administrator is to maintain the companies’ financial accounts and provide administrative support to the team. The Accounts Administrator, process payroll, accounts payable and receivable. In addition to posting transactions; monthly reconciliation and legal requirements compliancy, daily financial tasks, and clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSBILITIES
Follow accounting policies and procedures
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process- Maintain the chart of accounts
Enter data, maintain records and finances statements
Tag and monitor fixed assets
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Process Payroll
Collect sales taxes and remit to applicable entities- Complete tax forms
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
Monthly reconcile of all accounts, sales tax, bank accounts, credit cards, liabilities, and benefits
Prepare, review, understand and issue internal financial statements
Provide prompt information to external accountant as needed
Assemble information for external auditors for annual audit(s)
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Current tax knowledge
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Advance Math Skills
Proficient in QuickBooks-hands on experience with spreadsheets and QuickBooks
Proficient in Adobe and MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Reporting Skills, Administrative Writing Skills, Microsoft Office Skills, Managing Processes, Organization, Analyzing Information, Professionalism
Problem Solving
Ability to prepare, review and understand financial statements
Monthly closing experience
Excellent preparing business correspondences
Time Management
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Proficient in arithmetic and literacy
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous office experience required (at minimum 2 (two) years) with a minimum of
1 (one) year in clerical specialized duties
Bookkeeping experience (at minimum 2 (two) years, preferably within a sales-services environment
Proficient in accounting software programs (preferably QB)
Competent computer skills including MS Office or equivalent
