We are looking for an onsite manager/maintenance person or couple for one or more mobilehome and RV parks in Siskiyou County. The properties have a mixture of mobilehome spaces and RV spaces. The position requires employee to live onsite in his/her own RV unit or in a park-owned structure.

The position is full-time (40 hours per week total). For a couple, the 40 hours total must be distributed between both employees. However, the position requires employee to respond in emergencies and to dedicate some time after-hours to assist with overnight RV tenants.

This position is ideal for someone looking for regularly scheduled office and maintenance work with additional on-call possibilities. It is best for someone who doesn't mind working from home and living at work, plus anyone who enjoys a flexible schedule and providing excellent customer service to communities of people. The job will be five days per week, with the specific days to be determined depending on seasonal requirements. Applicants must enjoy working with their hands in an outdoors environment plus working indoors with computers and paperwork. We are looking for a hard-working individual with proficiency in general labor (i.e. minor plumbing, electrical, gas maintenance, construction, waste line repair, etc) PLUS experience with office equipment (i.e. printing, scanning, emailing, etc). The duties will include both office management and handyman maintenance including, but not limited to:

Cleaning and maintaining common areas;

Regular landscaping and grounds-keeping as needed;

Utility meter readings as needed;

Minor gas and water line repair;

Painting;

Laundry facilities maintenance;

Rent collections;

Tenant communications;

Printing and delivering notices;

Providing information to prospective homeowners;

And other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Compensation is $2,000 per month PLUS free RV space rent or park-owned structure rent. Employees are responsible for payment of metered utilities. Drug screening and background checks may be required. A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Preferences:

1. Applicants must live onsite in an RV unit owned by the applicant or in a park-owned structure.

2. Applicants with general maintenance experience.

3. Applicants with experience with mobilehome and/or RV parks.

4. Applicants must have basic computer skills and must be able to properly email, print, scan, and download pictures.
