Looking to hire 2 new employees; a part timer for 3 days a week and a full timer 40 hours a week
Every day we all work hard together as a team to accomplish goals, together we accomplish more than we can alone. Everyday we see a new curiosity, out of a box or in through the door, something unexpected and new is never far. Boring is never a word heard about the place.
About the Job
Are you the self-motivated type that's not afraid to get a little dirty? A friendly type that enjoys making friends and helping customers with genuine gusto? Can you start a project, get interrupted 3x and come back an hour later picking up where you left off? If so, perhaps Anglins' has an opportunity for you.
As part of the floor staff you will be expected to (cover these basic requirements)
- Able to Man the counter; Phones, take money, help customers and stay productive.
- Move furniture and boxes on a daily basis. Some days it’s loading and unloading a truck from location to home base, while other days we’re rearranging the floor to fit new furniture in, playing real world Tetris… but with furniture. Most days there will be customer “Load Outs” and small truckloads of new Stuff.
-Stay Productive, there will always be more to do than we can tackle in one day, it’s part of the fun challenge the job provides. So we want to welcome someone who can choose the best suited tasks that get the most done or are most important eventually without direction.

- Did I mention, Customers, Customers, Customers. We pride ourselves on being “Aggressively Friendly” and our Customers are the most important part of the job. From the Folk that we work with at their homes and business all over Humboldt county to our many regulars and all the many new passers by.
Requirements
There’s something new to learn each day and we’d like our new team member to have fair learning skills and a capacity to learn a whole new creative skillset of abilities. A high school diploma or equivalent will suffice.
No stuffy dress code other than basic respectful clothing in good repair and general cleanliness.
Must have reliable transportation, fine if it’s just your feet but you’ve got to be at work if scheduled.
Job Requirements
Able to pass a drug test if asked
No serious criminal offences
A quick learner who can take mindful correction with a good attitude.
We move furniture on a daily basis, one must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. and willing to ask for assistance when needed to avoid injury. Knowledgeable of proper lifting techniques
Must be able to keep up a quick pace all day, no time to lean here.
A multi-tasker: Must be able to juggle customers' needs, with instruction from owners as well as keep up on active daily tasks.
Have a friendly and helpful manor. We have a classic dedication to customer service and pride ourselves on taking that extra step for our customers with a friendly attitude
Must have a stable residence, reliable transportation (even if its your own feet) and able to be consistently punctual.
