Established Central Coast area general contractor seeking motivated, professional, and career minded Construction Project Manager.

Project Management candidates must have a passion for the construction process and be able to effectively manage all project assignments from start to finish. Ideal candidates should possess traits of servant leadership, a willingness to train and instruct, and the desire to perform their management function at the highest level. Project Managers shall serve to manage all project matters, support and maintain superintendents and other staff as assigned, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and/or projects including preconstruction, estimating, and project management functions.

Job Duties include, but not limited to:

 First point of contact for all administrative matters and support to project staff, project clients, and the project site.

 Perform estimating and preconstruction planning.

 Desire to maintain and enforce company policy and contract requirements.

 Supporting and maintaining Company Safety Program with staff and trade partners.

 Long and short interval scheduling, work and subcontractor coordination, work flow, and jobsite harmony.

 Management and effective project controls at all times.

 Cost and budget control, subcontractor and trade level billing management, and contract billings.

 Management and documentation of coordination meetings.

 Managing commitments, purchases, and subcontracts, including issuance.

 Working closely with project staff to assist, identify and solve problems

 Ensure project is completed on schedule, within budget and with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications

 Document and resolve changes in the work.

 Tactful and professional attitude and dealings at all times.

Project Manager Requirements:

 Five (5) years’ experience in commercial construction or equivalent work.

 Seeking experience in both private and public works construction, including alternative delivery approach (Design-Build, Design-Assist)

 Higher education and/or 4 year degree in construction management, engineering, or related disciplines a plus.

 Strong task manager and ability to work without constant supervision.

 Ability to read and understand construction plans, contracts, and specifications.

 Technical trade understanding, understanding building codes, and knowledge of trade sequencing.

 Strong communicator, oral and written.

 Must be a team player and possess the desire to serve the company and its clients.

 Must possess basic computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and

MS Word. Knowledge of Bluebeam, MS Project, and Procore a plus.
