Upscale tennis club is seeking a Front Desk/Customer Service Associate to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their visit. The Front Associate's responsibilities include (but are not limited to) greeting members and guests as they arrive at the club, answering phones and emails, making reservations, taking payments and point of sale transactions, light cleaning and restocking. Applicants must be friendly, warm and outgoing, with excellent communication skills. A strong attention to detail and the ability to self-start are a must. Prior customer service experience is strongly desired.
Applicants must be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
Greet and check-in members and guests
Provide cheerful assistance to members and guests in meeting all of their needs associated with the Club
Answer phones and respond to email and text messages
Become proficient in use of the Club software to manage member accounts, sales transactions and court and activity reservations
Maintain pro-shop stock, replenish as necessary
Assist with cafe/wine bar sales and service as needed
Answer inquiries pertaining to Club services and facilities. Conduct tours with prospective new members
Use best efforts to professionally and courteously handle member complaints and resolves issues
Assist in providing services as required for tournaments, events, and various programs
Inspect facility and conduct light cleaning
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Skills
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficient in use of common work place software (Google, MS Office, email, etc) and equipment (computer, phone system, copier)
Friendly, out-going, professional and positive attitude is a must!
