Come and join our dynamic team at the Child Development Resource Center (CDRC). We have an immediate opening for a teaching position here at CDRC. CDRC is a therapeutic preschool serving children ages 2-5. We provide therapeutic early childhood education and mental health programs for families that focus on protecting children through our commitment to heal, support and strengthen families in need within San Luis Obispo County. Ideal candidates must be flexible, dependable, a team player, and love children.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age, High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Experience/ability to lead and communicate with groups of children 2 - 5 years.
3. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
4. Good organizational skills, initiative, and a proactive attitude.
5. Team player! Able to communicate effectively and work with CDRC staff, youth, parents, community partners, and volunteers.
6. A commitment to the goals and philosophy of the CDRC.
7. Live scan clearance to be completed prior to start date.
8. Health, TB screening, and shot record prior to start date.
