What You Will Do:

Program Management of engineering activity to meet program objectives

Provide technical leadership and support for the design and development of custom motion control and power conversion/management systems

Point of contact for a program, handling customer/internal interaction and interface

Facilitate communication and disseminate information to project team and all pertinent stakeholders

Manage the cost, schedule and engineering deliverables with the customer, sales team, and manufacturing group

Identification, tracking and mitigations of program technical, schedule, and budget risks

Requirement derivation, tracking, and verification/validation for the program using Verification Tracking Matrix (VTM) approach. Ensure system engineering is being executed on the program

Manage assigned engineering resources based on cost, schedule, and resource loading cooperatively with the V.P. of Engineering

Work cooperatively with Manufacturing Engineering during product release process

Management of released product for sustainment or issue resolution

Travel to customer site as needed

What You Need For This Position:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

5+ years of successful experience in a senior engineering design role

2+ years of strong leadership in technical project/program management

Technical skills: motion control system development experience (i.e. - PID), analog and digital circuit design experience, firmware/embedded systems design experience are highly desired

PMP certification is highly desired

Creative and collaborative problem solving skills, driving "fast and right" results for complex situations and problems

Ability to convey specific, measurable expectations for each assignment, and verify understanding and agreement on deliverables and timeframes

Ability to convey information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse teams

Physical Demands:

Must be able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds unassisted for duties such as unpacking and lifting of event materials.

This position will require frequent setup and take-down of chairs, portable tables, etc.
