Our Restaurant, La Cucina is hiring for an experienced and talented Cook. La Cucina is based around a beautiful Italian Stefano Ferrara wood fired pizza oven open for the public to view the cooking process.
Success in this role will require all of the following:
Prepare pizza dough and all other pizza ingredients
Develop and execute weekly and seasonal menu changes
Evaluate inventory to ensure fresh ingredients and adequate stock
Complete pizza orders in a timely fashion
Assist with cleaning dishes and bussing tables
Prepare, assemble, and cook customer orders to particular desires
Ensure hygienic cooking conditions, such as proper storage, preparation, cleanliness etc.
Complete opening and closing duties for the kitchen
A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food and customer service
The ability to multi task
Work in team environment with a positive attitude
Must have valid or be able obtain a food handler’s certification
Food costing and inventory experience
Experience with wood fire oven and pizza preparation, highly desired
