We are seeking an Executive Housekeeper to join our team! You will perform a variety of light cleaning and organizing duties.
Responsibilities:
⢠Ensure a clean and orderly environment
⢠Move reasonably small furniture as necessary
⢠Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
⢠Cooperate with all other departments
⢠Assist guests as necessary to insure a successful guest stay.
⢠Directly supervise 8 to 20 employees in the housekeeping department and Breakfast staff
⢠Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
⢠Previous Hotel experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
⢠Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
⢠Strong attention to detail
⢠Strong work ethic
⢠Thorough knowledge of equipment and cleaning supplies and how to use them safely and effectively. Have a complete knowledge of all related equipment in housekeeping and laundry
⢠High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year experience and/or training in the Housekeeping Department.
⢠Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
⢠Strong problem solving skills, involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
⢠Fluent in both English & Spanish in both reading & writing
⢠Strong math ability
