Veg On The Edge located in San Luis Obispo Public Market, we're a fast-casual restaurant serving 100% vegan cuisine with a West African twist.

We are looking to fill a manager position for our San Luis Obispo Location at

San Luis Obispo Public Market

3845 S Higuera St

San Luis Obispo, CA 93401

Compensation:

40K to 48k/year (Full-Time)

Bonuses and Incentives for meeting Food, Labor & Sales goals

Paid 1 week yearly vacation

PLUS 7-Day yearly Hawaiian vacation (Airfare & Lodging included)

Minimum Qualification:

Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent

Two years minimum experience as Restaurant or Assistant Manager

Experience working on restaurant primary costs (Food & Labor)

Restaurant Serve Safe Certified

Criteria:

Highly detail-oriented

Clean, neat and organized

Maintains commitment levels to goals

Able to communicate effectively, in verbal and written forms

Capable of transferring knowledge to team members

Ability to keep to time commitments and project timelines

Upbeat, enthusiastic with a professional attitude and presence

Responsibilities (all aspects of the restaurant operations, to include the list below):

Day to day responsibility of the restaurant operations

Food cost management

Labor cost management

Other controllable cost management

Sales Growth management

Staff training

Equipment maintenance and functionality

In-store promotions and merchandizing

Regular staff hiring, evaluation and retention

Hold staff accountable as per job description and measurement scorecard

Policies, procedures, rules and regulations enforcement

Security, Safety and food standards maintenance

Daily Sales, cash balancing, food and labor reporting
