Fish Gaucho Modern Mexican & Tequila Bar in Paso Robles is seeking qualified applicants for several positions within our all-star team! Currently we are seeking:
Hosts:
The face(s) of Fish Gaucho, setting the standard for exceptional hospitality through honest caring and empathy. Developing rapport with our guests to ensure every single guest comes back again and again. Handling our extensive wait list with grace and fairness. Answering the constantly ringing phone with a smile. Seating guests in our dining room and patio, familiarizing them with our menu and introducing them to the rest of the team caring for them. Going over and above to ensure every guest feels completely taken care of from the minute they walk in to the minute they leave.
Service Assistants:
Assisting our Servers, Bartenders, Hosts, Runners & Expeditors in fulfilling their responsibilities as we work as a team to provide our guests with excellent service and exceptional hospitality. Being the "extra set of hands" we all need every night and learning to anticipate our guests' needs and desires, providing for them before even being asked.
Ideal Candidates will:
- Be Optimistic, Warm and Genuinely Friendly
- Be Insatiably Curious, ready and willing to learn everything and anything about the business.
- Possess the natural instinct to want to do anything they do as best as it can possibly be done.
- Be able to bring to the table a keen awareness, care, and connection with how others feel and how your actions make them feel.
- Be Honest with themselves and us. Aware of their own strengths and how to use them and accountable for their weaknesses and how to compensate for them.
- Possess a keen eye for detail.
- Be a minimum of 18 years old and have a High School Diploma
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Have Availability on Weekends and Holidays, Specifically Sundays!
Experience in Casual &/or Fine Dining is preferred, but not necessary. If "Who You Are" is a good fit, we can and will teach you the rest.
