The Kitchen Supervisor overseas all functions in the kitchen, including but not limited to meeting volume requirements, production, quality control, ensure sanitation and standards operating procedures are thoroughly followed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee daily management of yogurt and gelato production which includes staff supervision and development, production, maintenance, sanitation, and quality control.
Assist in developing sop and administer expectations with regards to hygiene and sanitation, safety, and quality control.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience in management of ingredients and meeting established production goals ensuring established quality and sanitation standards.
Ability to build and develop teamwork and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with numerous interruptions.
Effective communication
Must be self-motivated, pro-active and resourceful.
Strong organizational and planning skills and has high standards in cleanliness.
REQUIREMENTS
Bakery/kitchen experience helpful
2-4 years of recent Supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of kitchen production practices and hygiene.
Self-motivated and flexible
Available for 7am-2:30pm Mon-Fri
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS)
CA Manager Food Safety certification within 10 days
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds
