Niner Wine Estates is a family owned and operated winery seeking a dynamic Line Cook to join our kitche. This position will provide a venue to showcase your passion for fine cuisine while sourcing ingredients from the estate garden. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the desire to learn and master their culinary skills.
This position reports to the Executive Chef with key interaction with restaurant, tasting room and event staff. The normal work schedule is Wednesday through Sunday.

Job Duties:
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chefs instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Active involvement in harvesting ingredients from Estate Garden
Qualifications and Skills
1-2 years experience working in a fast paced restaurant
Must be able to handle pressure and work quickly
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Work in a clean and organized manner
Good knife skills
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industrys best practices
A high school diploma or GED
