We are growing our little family of baristas/bakers, and we're looking for someone incredible to join our team. If you are humble and don't describe yourself as "absolutely incredible," then you're off to a great start. :-)
In an ideal world, we want someone who embodies all of these things:

- mature and professional with straightforward and respectful communication skills
- reliable, responsible, punctual and honest
- clean and presentable and a little OCD about keeping workspaces clean
- passion for delicious coffee/espresso and baked treats a friendly foodie
- a team player who is open-minded, flexible and naturally enjoys helping others
- a people person who enjoys talking with a variety of people and can remember everyone's name and favorite drinks and treats
- ability to multitask and chat with a guest while preparing a cappuccino/washing dishes/wiping down the counter
- ability to keep up with high volume moments and also be productive during slower times
- a humble "student of life," where you're always striving to learn more and do better in life
- community-oriented with a desire to help others and do good in the world
If you have prior coffee experience and know how to dial in espresso, manually pull a perfect shot and steam milk to a sweet and microbubbly perfection where latte art practically pours itself, that's great but we'll train you on the coffee side if you have the awesome human being side down. :-) We also don't require formal baking training, but an avid home baker with a love for all-natural, not-too-sweet sweets would be great.
About us: we're an independent coffee shop with a great little team committed to genuine, friendly service combined with consistent excellence in the coffee and freshly baked treats we serve. We're a quirky little band of foodie misfits, and we value being nice over being hip and cool. We love music, art and laughing together over good food and good coffee, and we'd love to find one more hard-working idealist/kind-hearted perfectionist to join our little family. If you like reading books, playing nerdy games, traveling, cooking for fun, and making children laugh, we will probably get along swimmingly. If you are a little too cool for school and think you're God's gift to humanity, or you're easily grumpy or think you know how to do everything better than everyone else, we probably won't.
